The best value budget dining option is town in our opinion. Very popular with the backpacker community. A blend of cheap western and local dishes with an extensive vegetarian menu. Owners are a dynamic couple, Hai and Van and very community based with a young family. Hai has always shown great leadership, around Phong Nha in relation to Environmental issues, Healthy lifestyles and Sustainable development. The Business also acts as a front for Hai’s Eco Tours. An business initiative to help educate guests about the area’s diversity and help introduce more environental standards to the area and its young and rapidly developing toursim industry.

The Property has a swimming pool. So be sure to come prepared to cool off. It’s a 12 km bicycle ride from Phong Nha Village and a 5 km. Bicycle ride from Phong Nha Farmstay, in the Bong Lai Valley. Visiting this place can be achieved in conjunction with a day trip exploring the Bong Lai Valley. Be sure to Visit here for Lunch after going to the Cuong Rung Farm at the top of the Valley. See Map. After lunch, you can finish up with a laugh at the Duck Stop. A great day out in Rural Vietnam.
Hot Tip No.1 – Order your food from your Hotel or Homestay by ringing ahead, or on the way up to Cuong Rung Farm. As it’s coming from the Farm, its slow to prepare. You order a chicken, They start catching chickens. It’s the real deal
Hot Tip No.2 – Order the Platter, You get a BBQ Chook, BBQ Pork, Rice, Spring Rolls, Veggies, Peanut Sauce, Muoi Cheo dipping sauce, and all made from locally grown and sourced ingredients. approx 400,000 and feeds 2-5 people.
